Pine Grove golf:'Scotch' June 28
IRON MOUNTAIN - Pine Grove Country Club's "Scotch" golf will take place Thursday, June 28.
Dinner reservations and tee times for nine holes of golf must be made with the pro shop by Tuesday.
Members and guests are welcome. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
Ski jumping:Kiwanis meeting
IRON MOUNTAIN - Kiwanis Ski Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Pine Mountain clubhouse.
Triathlon:Help sought
IRON MOUNTAIN - Dickinson Area YMCA is seeking volunteers for its second annual U.P. Northwoods Triathlon on Sunday, July 1.
Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas including registration, refreshments, event transition, water stations, traffic guides and finish chute.

Run-walk:
Benefit July 7
GOODMAN, Wis. - The fourth annual Goodman Armstrong Rescue Squad EMS 5K run-walk will take place Saturday, July 7.
The run-walk starts at the Goodman Ranger Station Antiques (corner of U.S. Hwy. 8 and Clark Road in Goodman). Entry fee is $20 before June 25; $25 on the day of the event.
Registration forms are available in Goodman at The Stoney Ridge Inn, 8 Hi Club and Trails End Saloon, and in Armstrong Creek at The Corner Store and Gudowicz's Marathon. Forms will also be mailed by calling 715-336-2027.
Basketball:WIC tourney
IRON RIVER - The first Blazz'in Blue 3-on3 Outdoor Basketball Tournament, a fund-raiser for the West Iron County basketball program, will take place Saturday, June 30.
Entry fee is $75, with the boys and girls teams participating in seven divisions (fourth grade, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, jayvee and varsity).
Tournament applications are available from local schools or Citgo stations in Iron River, Crystal Falls, Florence, Iron Mountain (across from the Midtown Mall) and Norway. Any questions can be directed to West Iron County boys basketball head coach Dan Schive at 906-367-0911.
