Planetarium at Norway Library
NORWAY - The Norway Library will host an Inflatable Planetarium on Friday, June 15 at 11 a.m. at the Norway City Hall.
This introduction to astronomy features fun demonstrations illustrating important concepts relating to stars, constellations and our universe- all inside a giant inflatable planetarium. This program is open to all ages. Registration is required for this program; call 563-8617 to register, or visit the Norway Library.
This program is sponsored by the Vulcan-Norway-Loretto Lions Club and the Norway-Vulcan Woman's Club.
Post 50 to host breakfast
IRON MOUNTAIN - The Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post 50 of Iron Mountain will be hosting its last breakfast until October on Fathers Day, June 17 from 8 a.m. until noon.
Menu will include pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juice and milk.
Cost is $7 per adult, $4 children ages six to 10 and ages five and under are free.
This event is open to the public. The Post is located at 916 River Ave. in Iron Mountain.
Niagara classes gather Thursday
NIAGARA, Wis. - The Nifty Fifties and Sixties classes of Niagara High School will meet Thursday for lunch at noon at the Niagara Senior Center. This will be the Father's Day dinner.
All those who graduated from Niagara High School during the 1950s and 1960s are invited to attend. Spouses and friends are also welcome.
Northern Michigan Home Health Staff will be at the center to give free blood pressure checks, pulse and sugar checks if you would like to take advantage of their services from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
All senior citizens are welcome to attend the center at any time.

The Center is located at 569 Washington Ave. in Niagara.
Community meal Thursday
IRON MOUNTAIN - A community meal is planned Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Iron Mountain from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The church is located at 106 Fourth St. in Iron Mountain.
