NORWAY - June E. Feak, 89, of Norway, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.
She was born on June 27, 1922, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Earl J. and Ada (Bowman) Ewig. She attended school in Channing, graduating from Channing High School in 1940.
June married Richard Feak on Oct. 10, 1942, in Channing, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2008. In her spare time, June loved to work on any and all kinds of crafts, sewing and reading.

June is survived by daughters, Mary (Don) Ott and Barbara (John) Geline all of Vulcan; grandchildren, David (Denise) Ott of Madison, Wis., Lisa (Bruce) Wanish of Green Bay, Wis., Robert Geline of Kirkland, Wash, Eric (Elizabeth) Ott of Madison, Wis., Cyndi (Tim) Roberts of Davenport, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Casey, Alex, Jesse, Maya, Hayley, and Celia; sisters, Wilma Jean (Vern) Bates of Mansfield Township, Mary Lou (Roy) Quinn of Kokomo, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Geline, a sister, Arlene Heitz, and a brother, John Ewig.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Crystal Falls. Fr. Timothy Ekaitis will officiate.
