NEGAUNEE -Norway's Dani Gagne continued her remarkable track and field season, winning four events and setting two Norway High School records at the Miners Co-Ed Meet here Thursday.

Gagne swept the 100, 200 and 400 to go with the long jump. She is undefeated in 24 events this season.

Gagne's long jump of 17-0.5 topped her own record from a season ago, and her 58.61 in the 400 bested Joan Casanova's mark from the early 1980s, according to Knights head coach Carli Kelly.

Norway's Megan Kangas remained undefeated in hurdles this season, with wins in the 100 and 300.

Negaunee had more depth than anyone could handle and easily swept the boys and girls titles.

The Miners won 10 of 17 events in each meet to score 156 points in the boys meet and 155 1/2 in the girls.

Ishpeming was runner-up for the boys with 110, followed by Norway, Gwinn and L'Anse. Among the girls, Norway was second with 83 points, followed by Ishpeming with 69 and then Gwinn and L'Anse.
