IRON MOUNTAIN - Central U.P. Youth Football League will hold registration for the upcoming season on Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to noon and Tuesday, May 8, from 5 p.m. to 7 pm.
Registration will be conducted at Midtown Mall, Angeli's Central Market in Iron River, Spalding Community Schools, Norway-Vulcan Area Schools superintendent's office, Florence Elementary School and the Bark River Volunteer Fire Hall.
Children currently in fourth through seventh grade are eligible to play. Registration fee is $80, plus a $20 equipment deposit per family.

City Park Athletic Field Project
IRON MOUNTAIN - The City of Iron Mountain, in conjunction with the Central U.P. Youth Football League, is about to start the project to add an additional athletic field at Iron Mountain's City Park.
Volunteers are needed Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to noon to help move the south portion of the deer fence. Volunteers are asked to bring a No. 2 shovel or a hammer and meet at the east parking lot at 8:45 AM.
