CRYSTAL FALLS - A two-week jury trial for murder suspect David Levack is set to commence in Iron County Trial Court on Monday.

Jury selection will start at 9 a.m.

Levack, 45, of Kingsford faces felony counts of open murder, felony murder, home invasion-first degree, and witness intimidation. He is also listed as a habitual offender-third.

If convicted, he could spend up to life in prison.

Levack stands accused of murdering 81-year-old Joyce Johnson of Stambaugh Township before she could testify against him in a stolen property trial on Sept. 27, 2011. In the stolen property case, Levack was accused of stealing jewelry from Johnson's residence sometime in November 2008.
