Verle Bochantine

FLORENCE, Wis. - Verle H. Bochantine, 87, of Florence, formerly of Leyden Township, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009.

Verle was born in Florence, Wis. and lived for many years in Leyden Township before retiring back in Florence. She had a home in Florence on Lake Emily.

Her grandparents, the Simdars family, were longtime, founding residents of Florence. She was a cousin to the Taft family and her nephew, Tim (Donna) Grossmann is a resident of Florence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert; loving mother of Lynn (the late Dean) Carlson and John (Kathy) Bochantine; proud grandmother of Bryan (Karen) Carlson, Eric Bochantine and Laura (Travis) Kuehner; honored great-grandmother of eight; and dear sister of the late Florence Grossmann.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. to until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton St. in Arlington Heights, Ill.

Interment will be in the Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.

Arrangements by the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary of Elmhurst, Ill.
