Valesano, Lehto share league volleyball honor
Skyline selects premier playersRAPID RIVER - Forest Park's Maria Valesano and North Dickinson's Emily Lehto have been named co-recipients of Skyline Conference volleyball's most valuable player award.
Valesano is a senior outside hitter for the league champion Trojans; Lehto is a senior outside hitter for the runner-up Nordics.
Forest Park senior "libero" Kristin LaChapelle was named the defensive specialist.
Forest Park's Kim Bjork earned Coach of the Year.
Forest Park's Alex LaChapelle and Daryl Arcand joined North Dickinson's Kelsie Luedtke (unanimous) and Mariah Johnson on the first team.
Audrey Sholander and Kristin LaChapelle landed second-team berths with North Dickinson's Amy Roell.
