KHS class of '50 lunch Thursday

KINGSFORD - The Kingsford High School class of 1950 is meeting for lunch at Holiday Kitchen in Iron Mountain on Thursday, Nov. 5, at noon.

All classmates are invited.

Classy Lassies gather Thursday

IRON MOUNTAIN - The Classy Lassies of the Red Hat Society will gather at Jim's Restaurant in Niagara on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 11:30 a.m. for lunch.

Those attending are reminded to wear their red and purple attire. Anyone wishing to join the group is welcome.

The restaurant is located at 937 Main St. in Niagara.

Special event planned Nov. 7

KINGSFORD - The public is invited to join the Bunch for Lunch and view the special feature video, "I'm NOT Okay" with comedian Ken Davis on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Balsam Street Christian Church in Kingsford.

Adults and children are welcome.

The church is located at 324 Balsam St.

Pasty sale on Saturday

IRON MOUNTAIN - St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iron Mountain is holding a pasty sale on Saturday, Nov. 7. Pick up will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pasties are $3.50 each.

Orders can be made by calling 774-3616 or 774-4157.

'Ladies Night Out" Thursday

NORWAY - St. Mary's and St. Barbara's youth groups are sponsoring a "Ladies Night Out" on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Mary's parish hall in Norway.

Consultants in attendance include, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Tupperware, Celebrating Home, Stanley, Mary Kay, Beijo Purses, Crafts with Care, Pampered Chef, Stone Road Coffee and Decor.

Food and refreshments will also be available.

The public is invited. The church is located at 401 Main St. in Norway.

Quinnesec church hosts breakfast

QUINNESEC - Quinnesec United Methodist Church is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast at the church on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

A full breakfast meal will be offered with homebaked goods, eggs, sausages, French toast and pancakes. Juice and coffee will also be available. The suggested donation is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

The public is invited. The church is located on the corner of Division and River streets in Quinnesec.
