Council approves water main repair

POSTED: November 2, 2009

NORWAY - A six inch water line that was discovered broken early Sunday morning will be repaired within the next seven days.

This is following Norway City Council approval on Monday.

City Manager Ray Anderson said a six inch water line break on west U.S. 2 near Thirsty Whale was discovered at about 9 a.m. Sunday. Crews isolated the line on Monday, and the Michigan Department of Transportation was notified because the line is around a U.S. Highway.
