IRON MOUNTAIN - The Dickinson County Sheriff's Department responded to three separate rollover accidents during the Halloween weekend.

Lt. Derek Dixon said the first rollover occurred on Saturday at 8:10 p.m. on Leeman Road in Felch Township.

A 2001 GMC Yukon, driven by 36-year old David Hall of Appleton, Wis., was eastbound on Leeman Road when the vehicle went into a ditch and overturned a number of times. The driver was ejected and sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries, Dixon said.

Hall was transported by STAR Ambulance, assisted by paramedics from Beacon Ambulance, to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in good condition this morning.

Dixon said Hall had consumed alcohol. A report was submitted to the Dickinson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for possible charges.

A second rollover occurred on Sunday at 4:45 a.m. on Lake Ellen Road in Sagola Township.

Dixon said a 2002 Ford Explorer, driven by 35-year-old Nathan Ochs of White Cloud, Mich., overturned on a private drive. Ochs was traveling too fast and failed to make a corner, deputies said.

Ochs was cited for suspected careless driving. Dixon said alcohol contributed to the crash, but the driver was not intoxicated.

Ochs was not injured in the crash.

A third rollover occurred on Sunday at 8:05 a.m. near the site of the first rollover.

Dixon said a 2003 Pontiac Vibe, driven by 28-year-old Erika Petzke of Gwinn, overturned on Leeman Road in Felch Township. The accident occurred approximately two-tenths of a mile from the first rollover. Petzke entered a corner, lost control, over- corrected, entered the ditch and overturned, deputies said.

Although Petzke was not injured or issued a citation, the accident remains under investigation.

All three vehicles were towed by Cerasoli Motors.

Local law enforcement reports there were no other serious accidents over the weekend.
