Museum begins fall hours
IRON MOUNTAIN - The Menominee Range Museums will return to fall hours beginning on Tuesday.
The Cornish Pumping Engine and Mining Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays through Sept. 21, weather permitting.
The Menominee Range Historical Museum will be open Tuesdays, 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesdays through Fridays, noon to 3 p.m. and closed Saturday through Monday. Both museums will be closed on Labor Day.
Soccer donation
Holiday Kitchen in Iron Mountain, presented a $300 check to The St. Mary's Soccer Complex as a donation/ The soccer complex is located on Pine Mountain Road. Completion of the complex is expected in mid-September and it will be ready for the 2009 soccer season. Donations are still being accepted. Call Dick Abraham at 774-1147 if you would like to donate.
