Dan Kolberg

FLORENCE, Wis. - Dan Kolberg, 33, lovingly referred to as Danny, of Oshkosh, Wis., formerly of Florence, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday afternoon, Aug. 24, 2008, at his home.

He was born Oct. 28, 1974.

Dan's travels during his journey with us took him to many different locations where he enjoyed meeting new people, participating in the Special Olympics, and enjoying the company of his family and friends.

He loved watching the Green Bay Packers in the fall and the Brewers in the spring. Keeping stats on his computer, along with an occasional Madden game, were some of his favorite pastimes. Mostly, Danny enjoyed being with his family whenever he could! He was presented with many challenges throughout his life and will always be known as "our" hero!

Dan is survived by his mother, LaVonne (Wittman) Kolberg; father Wayne Kolberg; three sisters, Vicky Matullo, Cindy Sleeter, Dawn Kolberg; five nephews, Casey, Wayne, Eugene, Brent, Christopher; six nieces, Saunja, Brooke, Sarah, Johnna, ShellbyAnne, Sheila; one great- niece, Savannah; and one great-nephew, Caleb.

Visitation will be held on Friday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate.

Burial will be in Commonwealth Cemetery in Commonwealth, Wis.
