Coyote in Iron Mountain


IRON MOUNTAIN — Iron Mountain Police Department officials are asking residents to be mindful of their small pets as a coyote has been hanging around Crystal Lake and Evergreen Drive for the past week or so.

Police said the coyote does not appear to be nervous and people should be mindful of their small pets, such as dogs or cats. Dickinson County Animal Control will attempt to tranquilize the coyote, and remove it from the area.
