HAMTRAMCK, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a woman is dead and three other adults critically injured following a fire in Hamtramck.
Fire Chief Paul Wilk tells The Detroit News (http://bit.ly/1hHl6w1 ) that the fire was reported at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday at a two-story home in the Detroit enclave.
The home is split into two apartments on the first floor and has a flat on the second floor. Wilk says that the fire appeared to have started in the living room of one of the units. Wilk says the three injured people were hospitalized in critical condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
