LIVONIA, Mich. (AP) — A nonprofit organization that provides free hair replacements to kids with medically related hair loss is set to hold its annual fundraiser in the Detroit area.
Children With Hair Loss is putting on a charity ball Saturday at Laurel Manor in Livonia.
Tickets for the event are $75 each. All profits benefit Children With Hair Loss.
Through CWHL, children get free customized human hair replacements and care kits annually until the age of 21. Each package can cost up to $5,000.
The charity ball is to be hosted by former Miss Michigan Ashlee Baracy, and the keynote speaker is Kaye Lani Rae Rafko-Wilson, a former Miss America and registered nurse.
