Tax deadline looms

April 15 (Tax Day) is fast approaching. Most people have already filed their taxes and spent their refund check.

Just this week, my husband and I finally organized a year’s worth of paperwork and will spend time this weekend filling in his business ledger.

My husband is self-employed so this is a necessary step for our tax preparation.

Since he doesn’t do this on a monthly basis, it is a lot of punching of numbers to do once a year. It stresses me out, and I really think it stresses him out.

His disorganization always catches the best of him at this time of the year, and I, of course, get the grunt of it.

For that, I hope we get our taxes done soon and file on time. Because I really do not want to file an extension again this year.
