Cold, wet winter

August 31, 2014 - Blaine Hyska
Better prepare for a cold, wet winter.

I’m not looking forward to it, but I believe these things come in cycles.

The Earth moves slowly, and when it decides it’s going to be warm, we’re warm for a few years in a row. We experienced that several years ago.

This year is one of the coldest on record, so why should we expect it to suddenly warm to above normal temperatures?

We haven’t had a 90 degree day yet this year, and we probably won’t get one. But I’ll bet we get more than a couple below 20 degrees nights this winter.

It might be a good idea to give the snow blower a tune-up before it’s too late.
