Back to school shopping

August 29, 2014 - Terri Castelaz
Back to school means shopping for new school clothes. This is not one of my favorite things to do, especially with a five year old. After doing some shopping in town, we finally broke down and took off last weekend to Oshkosh to get the clothes both girls needed for school. Tessa loves to shop on her own terms and of course Payton would just rather shop without Tessa. Tessa loves to try on what she likes, not what mother likes. After the first store I was ready to call it quits with her, but we pressed on. It was a good thing I got at least all the pants she needed within a couple of stores so that limited the dressing room time. Thank goodness. She also loved to pose and take pictures with the mannequins in the stores. Which was all fine with me what ever keeps her happy while shopping. By the end of Saturday, he had it and so did mom and dad. We have decided next year to break up the shopping into two trips. One to focus on each of the girls, which we should have thought of this year. Or maybe break it up all summer buy a couple things here and there like a lot of mothers I know do. Or just go online and save the hassle of arguing with Tessa.
