I read that fans attending the All-Star Game at Target Field in Minneapolis will have access to two self-serve beer machines in the stands behind first and third base, offering beer by the ounce. After having their ID checked, fans can buy a card for $10, $20 or $40 then get in line for the beer. Prices work out to about $6 for a pint, depending on the beer selected. The beer vending machines are expected to remain in place for the rest of the season.
Your move Miller Park.
Apparently the Cubs were considering the same thing at Wrigley Field, but fans there were struggling with the concept of something that provides desirable, reliable and consistent performance.
