Who doesn't love fireworks?
June 30, 2014 - Evan Reid
The Niagara Centennial celebration came to a close Sunday night with a great fireworks display.
The display lasted for about 15 minutes, was well coordinated and featured a good variety of fireworks. They were launched right from Heights Park so the view was perfect.
Some pretty intense lightning and a giant storm cloud looming in the distance only added to the spectacle — thankfully, it didn’t rain.
I’m looking forward to a weekend of fireworks (from mortars to smaller stuff like roman candles and bottle rockets) and hopefully some jet-skiing as we celebrate Independence Day.
Here’s to 100 years of Niagara, 238 years of the U.S.A., and summer fun, eh.
