Centennial fun

June 30, 2014 - Marguerite Lanthier
Niagara's Centennial Celebration is over but still fresh in my mind. The party seemed to go without a hitch. I'm sure that wasn't true for organizers, but for the public it looked that way. It was great to see people I haven't seen in years. The music was great. Had some delicious food (once I found the food section which wasn't until very late on Saturday.) I would have liked more food from the BBQ place. The best thing were the free rides. No one had to drive if he or she didn't want to. The cabs were even taking people home to other towns. My personal favorite ride of the weekend was the stretch limo I rode in by myself. Closest I will ever get to feeling rich. Happy birthday Niagara. Too bad you can't have a 100th birthday every year. I do like a good outdoor bash. Bring on Woodtick.
