Lunar eclipse came through

April 15, 2014 - Nikki Younk
Well, the skies cooperated and we had a clear view of the lunar eclipse “blood moon” early this morning. And we only had to stay up until 3 a.m. and brave record low temperatures to see it!

Low temps this morning bottomed out at five degrees, which was two degrees colder than the previous record low for April 15 that was set in the 1940s.

I guess lack of clouds means lack of warmth. You can't have it all.

For me, seeing the eclipse was definitely worth the loss of sleep and the extra chill. I sure am tired today, though.
