More than 50 of Trudy Rochon’s former volleyball players attended last month’s tribute at Florence High School.

“I have truly been blessed to be able to do what I loved and what was my passion for so many years,” Trudy said. “The tournament was wonderful. The caliber of their play was still amazing.”

Trudy’s Lady Bobcats from the early 1990s played this past year’s team. The young Bobcats, not even born when Trudy began coaching the varsity in 1992, edged their elders.
