NFL quick quiz: Who’s the last Packers quarterback to win a game at Dallas.
It’s a trick question, but you could get it right by accident.
The answer is Aaron Rodgers, who quarterbacked Green Bay to a 31-25 over Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium in early 2011.
But who’s the last Packers quarterback to beat the Cowboys in Dallas?
That would be Don Majkowski, who threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-10 victory Dec. 24, 1989, at Texas Stadium.
In all, the Packers have lost 12 of their last 13 games against the Cowboys in Dallas, dating back to a 1983 playoff loss.
So no matter who quarterbacks the Packers on Sunday, a victory would be out of the norm. (As a Packer, Brett Favre lost at Dallas nine times.)
Who’s the most recent Cowboys quarterback to lose to the Packers in Dallas?
The answer is Hall of Famer Troy Aikman, who as a rookie in 1989 was 0-11 in 11 starts.
Aikman, by the way, will provide FOX color commentary for Sunday’s game.
Final question. What are the chances Aikman will note he’s the last Cowboys quarterback to lose to the Packers in Dallas?
