Tip of the hat to the Pine Grove Dual women’s golf tourney committee that instituted a policy to stop sandbagging. Tournament flights and final scores were set after BOTH rounds were played.

Michigan State athletic director Mark Hollis told a Tommy Izzo story recently. Hollis, according to the Detroit News, recalled how former MSU basketball coach Jud Heathcote took his team to a summer trip to Australia. He told the players he wanted them to bond.
