According to Rasmussen Reports, only 24 percent of Americans are confident that the federal government does the right thing most of the time.
Additionally, just 30 percent of voters nationwide have trust in government officials when it comes to newly-revealed surveillance efforts, Rasmussen Reports said.
Mr. Obama recently tried to dismiss our concerns of government spying. Now, a word from our esteemed leader.
"If people can't trust not only the executive branch but also don't trust Congress and don't trust federal judges to make sure that we're abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we're going to have some problems here."
