| | Flivver foe likes Penn StateJuly 24, 2012 - Burt AngeliLook for Anthony Zettel to remain a member of the Penn State football team despite the penalties handed down this week. Zettel, a defensive end from West Branch-Ogemaw Heights High School, told the Grand Rapids Press earlier this year that he planned on sticking with the Nittany Lions no matter what. “I love it here,” said Zettel, a two-way standout who was recruited by more than a dozen Division 1 schools. “The school is amazing, it’s to die for. The education is always going to be here. The new coaching staff doesn’t really change my mind. My defensive line coach was a big reason why I came here, and he’s staying.” Zettel’s Falcons lost to Kingsford 22-15 in the 2010 Michigan state playoffs. “My options are not set in stone, but I want to be here (Penn State),” Zettel said. “I feel really excited for this new coach, Coach O’Brien. There’s a great chance I’ll be here the next four years.” | in: News, Blogs & Events Web |
