Awaiting new villain on ‘Breaking Bad’

“Breaking Bad” is back for its fifth and final season (in two parts, I believe) starting Sunday on AMC.

Anti-hero Walter White (played superbly by Bryan Cranston) is a fascinating character, but the ongoing supporting cast of villains (Tuco, the Cousins, Gus) and “professionals” (Mike, Saul) is maybe the second-best reason why this show thrives.

With Gus (“What does a man do, Walter? A man provides for his family”) now dead, I’m guessing we’ll be introduced to a new villain higher up the criminal food chain. That's only a guess. Didn't that laundry-lab equipment come from Europe? Can’t wait.
