Ruth Kramer

She was born March 30, 1944, in Kingsford, daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Jordon) Paige. Ruth graduated from Channing High School in 1962. She married Gregory Kramer on Feb. 4, 1967, in Iron Mountain.

Ruth was a member of the Calvary Chapel Church in Iron River and a former leader of the AWANA Club of America. She was a born-again Christian and had a strong faith. Ruth always put her family and others first. She loved to knit and belonged to the Knitting Club of Iron River. Ruth enjoyed giving away the things she would create to family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Gregory; one son, Vaughn Kramer of Iron River; two daughters, Deanna Kramer of Uncasville, Conn., and Krystal Coombe of Groton, Conn.; one sister, Sharon (Gary) Sleik of Merriman; six grandchildren, Katiera, Madolyn, Michaela, Amber, Patience, and Faith; four great-grandchildren, Kaelynne, Talon, Chase and Jayden.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Nash Funeral Home of Crystal Falls.

Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Joshua Brindle will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory.
